Microsoft 365 Security

 

Microsoft 365 Security Baseline (ScubaGear)
Microsoft 365 has become the backbone of most businesses, but securing it consistently across tenants is a growing challenge. ThreatMate’s new Microsoft 365 Security Baseline helps MSPs continuously assess every tenant against CISA’s published guidance, pinpoint risky configurations, and track improvements over time.

The result is clear, actionable visibility into each customer’s Microsoft 365 security posture, making it easier to show progress, prove value, and close gaps before attackers find them.

Important: To take advantage of these new features, you must re-integrate Microsoft 365 with ThreatMate.

 

Simplified Management

 

Inherited Settings
You can now apply key configuration settings to child tenants and override them where needed. Find them under Administration → Settings

 

Simplified Scanning Inclusions and Exclusions
Quickly view and control which internal subnets are scanned, manage exclusions in one place, and set defaults through inherited settings.

 

Integrations and Workflow

 

Ticketing with ConnectWise and Autotask
ThreatMate now pushes detected issues directly into your PSA. Tickets automatically close once all related findings are resolved, keeping remediation workflows clean and current.

 

Inherited Notification Rules
Notification rules can now be applied once and automatically cascade through your hierarchy, simplifying how alerts connect to PSA tickets and improving integration consistency.

 

Agent and Detection Improvements

 

Improved Installed Application Detection
Agents now detect more installed applications with greater accuracy, helping MSPs maintain more complete software inventories.

 

View Agent Scans in Configuration Page
Recent scan results are now visible directly in the agent configuration page, making it easier to validate agent performance.

 

User Experience Enhancements

 

Dark Mode
A new dark theme is available throughout the platform for a more modern look and reduced visual fatigue.

 

Additional UX Improvements

• Combined external domains and IPs into one unified page

• Added page actions and short descriptions for every page

• Improved table filtering across the product

• Added a beta toggle in the main menu

• Introduced a new report landing page for easier report access
